Exam preparation requires more than remembering definitions. This course helps you connect coaching competencies and ethics with practical choices, understand why an answer is stronger, and turn recurring mistakes into a focused study plan.
What your course includes
- 11 self-paced modules covering your preparation pathway, coaching competencies, ethics, knowledge practice, applied judgment and final review.
- Three knowledge practice quizzes of 20, 40 and 60 questions to build fluency and identify gaps.
- Eight Situational Judgment Test (SJT) warm-up scenarios to practise choosing the MOST effective and LEAST effective responses independently.
- Two complete 80-item mock banks, each with 36 knowledge questions and 44 SJT scenarios, plus detailed answer explanations.
- Downloadable mock learner booklets and structured review guidance for purposeful independent study.
- A Nexplan Institute Certificate of Completion, issued through the course platform when you complete the course.
A practical preparation pathway
1. Build your foundation. Start with the orientation and examination pathway guidance. Review the competencies and ethics, then use the knowledge quizzes to find areas that need attention.
2. Develop your judgment. Work through the SJT warm-up. Compare each MOST/LEAST choice with the rationale and record what you missed in your error log.
3. Rehearse and refine. Use a full mock, review your decisions and target the gaps. Keep the second mock fresh for your final rehearsal.

What does SJT mean?
SJT stands for Situational Judgment Test. You read a coaching scenario and select the MOST effective and LEAST effective response from the available choices.
Is this an official ICF course?
This is independent exam preparation developed by Nexplan Institute. It is not an official ICF or ICF-endorsed program, and the practice questions are not official examination questions.
What does the certificate recognize?
Completion of this Nexplan preparation course. It does not confer an ICF credential, confirm that you meet ICF credential requirements, or guarantee a passing examination result.
What is separate from the course price?
ICF application and examination fees, mentor coaching, qualifying coach education and other credential requirements are separate.
